July 29, 2024 Diary
As of today it is officially 4 weeks left until school starts here in the northeast US. Wow. A little sad I didn't reach my goal weight to look good in a bikini for swimming but oh well. Next summer will be mine! Like you noticed, I restarted exercising again and currently on Week 2 of the FB Fit Round 1 program. Loving it so far. When I get the time, I'll use their structure to customize my own routine. I've never been good at making an optimal exercise routine but I think I am starting to get a better scope of it. Strength train 2-3 days a week. HIIT about 2 a week. And so on. Still not confident enough yet to venture outside the program. Hopefully soon though.
Here's another selfie
By the way, here is my Weekly Monday Report from Fibit.
Yeahh don't expect it to be this high again. This was because of the D.C. trip.
Now here's the rest of my stats.
Technically, I have my protein shake snack before lunch. Like, almost always. That's why I ate 1/3 of a jalapeno braut. Still making my way to finish the original almond milk with the stupid sugar and carbs. This is probably keeping me from reaching ketosis due to the sugar. But just 1 more serving before I crack open my unsweetened milk. Ughhhh. But yeah I had to reeeeeally be careful with my carbs which is why I cut the braut. Gave the rest to my dawg.
After exercising, I read that you should consume about 20g of protein within 20 minutes of exercise. The babybell cheese gave me a nice boost with minimal calories and no carbs. Yay.
Dinner was a shit show. I made flanken steak ribs thin but since I used a marinade with OJ, ketchup and honey...that was a no go for me. I experimented and added monk fruit brown sugar, coconut aminos and a splash of toasted sesame oil. Yeah I did not know what I was doing! I had it in a separate pan fully covered for 2 hours in 300F. DON'T EVER DO THIS RECIPE!!! Mine burnt to a crisp. Completely black and inedible. My regular flanken for the family turned out perfect and juicy as per usual but man...mine was an experiment gone wrong. That's why I ended up eating cheese for dinner. Was starving slightly but lesson learned. Made sure to take some magnesium to prevent constipation.
