June 18, 2024 Diary


So not quite sure when I started making a facial routine. It was somewhere in mid April I want to say if we're going off my Amazon purchase history. I know I went full force when I got that luxurious oil cleanser. Sooooo about 2 months into doing this full skincare routine (link up there 👆 or in my side bar links) almost daily. I almost never skip a day. Today I learned that my Skincare Routine is ALMOST identical to the official 10 Step Korean Skincare Method (and I swear I had no idea nor came across this at all or else I would have 100% copied that shit). Only differences is I have no exfoliation step in my routine and my sheet mask step is before essence and serums which should be after. Which makes sense. So it is now updated to reflect that.

Well, I am now starting to see a HUGE improvement in my face in terms of complexion, brightness, glow and best of all...MY EYES!! I noticed such a drastic change in my dark undereye circles when I look in the mirror now. That Algenist product truly works wonders! It is almost like night and day difference. My dark circles are almost nonexistent...pretty damn close to anyway. So yeah...I feel great! Sad news is that the jar is almost gone. Major case of FOMO so I sucked it up and ordered one off of Poshmark since none were available on Amazon. Found it for 20 bucks. Crossing my fingers hoping it's not a dupe or fake. Good to know, though that this is how long the jar lasts for applying it to my eyes twice daily for 2 months. I think I might be able to stretch it for 2 1/2...not confident for 3 months. So yeah here's an updated pic of me I took just now if you want to know how I look smack dab in the middle of my weight loss journey.


Could you believe I am only half way through it?! Yes, from this pic I still would like to ultimately lose 34 more pounds. I'm still 154 pounds in this pic but I might be okay to stop at 130 pounds if I am satisfied buuuut I'll cross that road when I get to it. Even then that's still 24 pounds from that particular goal. My current sub-goal is 150 pounds that I am hoping to lose by July 1st. I just might make it!

We'll see. But here's the rest of my food logs and stuff for today.
