April 5, 2024 Diary
I didn't eat breakfast today. I woke up at a decent time but I knew I had to hurry up and head to the store or I'll never go. As soon as I got home I went straight into exercising (I usually have breakfast first) and of course I always end my workouts with almond milk mixed with protein powder. Already noon so I had to head to lunch. However my snack was more of a lunch revisited tbh. I grew up hating spam because I ate it out of the can. If you fry it with a little butter til golden both sides HOLY FUCK it is crispy goodness from the keto gods 😍
Now, to the exercise...
Not gonna lie, this Fitness Blender program is kicking my ass. When I did the 5 Day GrowWithJo 20-10-5 Program it was still challenging as hell but I was never wanting to drop dead after the workout. Finishing that 5 Day thing gave me a false sense of confidence that I would just breeze in FB FIT. Oooohhhh not the case at all. But that's entirely my fault for the false confidence.
BUT! I must soldier on. I have to finish what I started, right?
Day 5 of 54 of the FB Fit Round 1 Program unless noted. All DO NOT require any equipment!
-5 Minute Cardio Warmup @Fitness Blender. Not included in FB FIT but wanted an extra warm up even though I walked to the store which is practically already a warm up in itself.
-32 Minute At Home Cardio No Equipment Workout Warm up and cool down is included. This was pretty hard hitting but I was constantly looking at the counter to wait until it was overrrrrr.
-27 Minutes Recovery Cardio Warm up and cool down is included. This is actually my favorite workout in terms of short form moves and structure. I didn't move as fast as Kelli (and you shouldn't if you are not as fit as her) but I was totally drenched in sweat by the end. Focusing on form is much more beneficial for your body than moving at their pace.
(didn't feel the need to do any additional cool downs)
Other Exercises I did:
-20 Minute (total) walk to the store
--Simple Gua Sha tutorial and Gua Sha for Double Chin @TinaEngeo
-20 minute indoor walk before dinner
-30 minutes walking the dawg again!

Okay I actually question today's macros because for dinner we ate out and went to a nice sushi place. I googled and it said the naruto roll is keto friendly SO I ATE A LOT. When I logged this in, it gave such wild macros. All that was in there was avocado, salmon and tuna wrapped in cucumber slices. Somehow there's like 5 or so grams of carbs PER ROLL?!? I refuse to believe it. Sad it fucked up my macros but it is what it is. At least the total calories is at an ideal spot. Hella protein goals though 💪
