Okay so I tried a new recipe for breakfast. I had this Isopure Zero Carb Protein Powder in Creamy Vanilla unopened since February so I sought out where to actually use this. This fucker costed over 50 bucks so might as well put it to use, right? I browse r/KetoRecipes for inspiration and read a Pancake recipe using 1 scoop of the powder, 1 egg and 1 tbsp cream cheese. Well...it tasted different. Edible, mind you, but definitely didn't feel like a Pancake. It tasted mainly of egg with a hint of the protein powder...duh, right?! I am sure I did not mix it enough. Not the worst thing I tasted though. I topped it with Lakanto Monk Fruit Maple Syrup (keto friendly) and it made it slightly more tolerable. Not a filling breakfast. I'll go back to my original go-to breakfast of over easy egg, bacon, avocado and fruit. I'll still experiment here and there though. Glad I at least tried something new.

I know Keto can be controversial especially calorie restricting in general. I already knew this prior to starting however I never had boundaries when it came to food. I binged, ate like shit with fast food, high sugars, and breads of all shapes and sizes. I honestly NEED restriction when it comes to food. I wish I had someone to slap that donut out of my hand all those years ago.

I plan for the future so no, not depending on calorie restriction forever. This is my phase where I form that habit of good foods and bad foods but most importantly: portion control. I used to eat whole fucking cakes in 2 days! I was out of control, man! Currently 2 months in to keto and I honestly love it. I am in the process of conditional myself to stop craving buttercream and dense breads, fried foods etc. I've read a lot of criticism about keto so I know all too well. But everyone works differently. Perfectly fine if you don't agree with how I eat but please be respectful. ✌️ 

Day 24 of 54 of the FB FIT Round 1 Program. All workouts are from Fitness Blender unless noted.

-52 Minute HIIT Cardio and Abs Workout TBH I am scared of losing momentum of weight loss due to changing to less intense workouts so I ended up doing this one but being mindful of my right leg to not over due it. Finished the workout a day oh boi twas murder on me little heart.

-10 Minute Abs and Obliques Workout *EXTRA CREDIT. I did not do this workout. Depending how I feel, I think at the end of this program I am going to do it ALL OVER AGAIN and do all the extra credits. I should be in better Fitness standing by then.

I also decided to up my intake of Omega-3 to now 2 pills each morning. It's great for brain development and I was pretty convinced the other night I was at the beginning stages of dementia so I feel increasing my Omega-3 fatty oils might alleviate me to a degree. I went through an episode of an intense existential crisis where I thought my tongue was going numb while eating and thought I was going to choke on my food. L


For lunch, I didn't have any greens nor dressing for salad so I just decided to have the salad anyway and skip the greens. So I have everything below in a bowl and ate...sooo a chicken salad? It was delicious.
