March 28, 2024 Diary

My Google Pixel Watch 2 came in yesterday!!! That was super fast! It just came out a few months ago and so far I do love it. Feels nice to have a fitness watch again! I get 6 months of free Fitbit Premium. Can be stacked because I received this when I bought my Sense 1 last year.

Oh and since today marks the end of the 4th full week so that means WEIGH IN DAY! I was debating on taking full body measurements but I will just do that the 1st of every month.

So last week I was 175.6 pounds but this week?

So I lost only .8 lbs this week. Not gonna lie, I was hoping for more but on the more optimistic side, this is what the experts say is the most safest and healthiest weight loss to have at just 1 lb a week. Plus, I heard it is much more common for people who are 200+ pounds to have a more drastic weight loss in the beginning while being perfectly fine. It's just when you get closer and closer to your goal, it will start to close the gaps.

I also think the exercise maybe built some muscle in place of burning fat. So I probably did lose even more fat than I thought. Who knows. I am just glad I didn't gain weight. Any loss is a win for me! That's what I will just focus on.

Not to mention, look at this graph!

It's a downward slope so we can't forget those small victories. Here's another stat:

I just have to remind myself how far I have come so far. I spent the all of 2023 trying to lose weight and if you look back at those early 2023 posts I didn't make much of a dent which made me go into a melt down and stopped posting about my weight loss journey. Can't explain my abrupt jumpstart now but I am glad I did restart my journey.

Another thing I wanted to point out before I get to the exercises I did today...is about my nutrition. Some may think I am essentially starving myself but I assure you, I am far from even feeling starved. If I were, I would have reported feeling lethargic or even shaky and I am happy to say that I have not once felt any of those. My meal plans are far from perfect but I am learning along the way to see what works in my daily meal plan and what doesn't. Beginning was definitely shaky as hell but just remember, this is a learning process and I encourage you to customize your own food intake. Changed my mind on getting a glucose meter.

Now back to our regularly scheduled program...

Exercises I did today:
Since I now have the fitness watch, I'll be more stats, provided if it won't clog up Blogger's feed.

-5 minute Cardio Warm Up for Butt and Thigh @Fitness Blender I figured the main workout had a warm up but no harm in doing a warm up anyway.

-35 Miinutes of Day 4 "Quads" of the 20-10-5 Method Workout @Grow With Jo Holy shit well yesterday me saying it was too easy well today was too hard! Funny how things balance out, huh? Super duper challenge especially that strength training portion.

-13 Minutes Cool Down @Fitness Blender Decided to get a break from Kaleigh and try a different stretch. This one is great and has a few of the same moves as Kaleigh but different ones as well. It's very challenging if you aren't already well versed in yoga moves like cobra pose or single leg downward dog (my arms just could not hold well for that!) Unless you have any upper arm strength to do it than stick with Kaleigh.

-35 minutes indoor walking after dinner.

I know these aren't 100% accurate but it's good to know. Pixel seemed to only detect part of my main workout but eh whatever.
I assume it cut off during the 60 second water break portion of the main workout. I did walk around to keep my heart rate up which makes sense why the 2nd pic down here says so.

WOW THE NUMBER CHANGED AGAIN! Woo!!!
