Free (and Basic AF) Recipe Templates For Google Doc
For the last couple of months, I have been totally into customizing my own physical cook books. I literally started from the ground up. It originated as me writing in pencil my chicken scratch into my son's spiral bound notebook he no longer used. It was BAD!
Got tired of that shit so I bought some printer paper, sheet protectors and markers off of Amazon and wrote them on each paper in one big spare binder basic white binder. This also evolutionized to...
These are so cute, right?! My binder got way too big so I ended up buying these binders from Dollar Tree which was perfect as I loved the floppiness and flexibility of these binders. Barely today I bought these shelves and metal file holders from Amazon and now it looks complete.
However, the evolution is not over, folks! I am developing arthritis so now I want to start printing these recipes so I can save my hands from further pain. Getting old sucks. So I have decided to start printing some recipes. It's fine to print from the website itself but I don't want pictures mainly for cost reasons but my mind may change in the future. For the recipes that I cannot simply print off the web page like say, a seasoning or sauce recipe, I have made a collection of very simple templates.
Only best viewed on Desktop. Not mobile friendly. Make sure you click Make A Copy for yourself.
The Sauce Template is for when you need directions. Seasoning Template just has ingredients to be listed. Don't pay much attention to the notes I have. Just highlight and type over it.
Alternatively, you could make an account with any recipe manager like Copy Me That and either print from there or copy/paste into the template. Simple process either way with a little bit of tinkering on your end no matter what.
I must admit, I actually have NOT officially printed anything just yet. I am, however, in the process of digitizing all these recipes so I can eventually print. I'll wait until either Prime Day or Black Friday until I splurge on a good printer. Plus, I also go through these free magazines I get from time to time and carefully tear them out and add to my cook book. It's a wonder past time.
